  Watch the YouTube video outlining the history of the videogames industry from the 1970s to the 2010s. Now answer the following questions: 1) What were the first videogames like? The first video games were born upon mighty post-war mainframes which was designed for rapid code breaking. For example, the 1958's Tennis For Two which was a simple two-player Tennis simulation built for an analogue machine.  2) How have videogames changed over time? Video games have changed over time because since the 70's teenagers had to go to arcade stores to play games by putting money into them. Now in the 21 century, teenagers can now stay at home with there own luxuries and play video games by just putting a disc into there console and start playing instead of putting coins into a machine and playing.   3) What do the most successful games have in common? His Dark Materials: Industry and Audience blog tasks

  Industries 1) What famous stars are in His Dark Materials and why do you think they were selected for the show?  Will-Amir Wilson. I think why he was picked for the show His Dark Materials is because of him being in films and dramas such as The Kid Who Would Be King which is a film and The Secret Garden which is a drama.  Lyra-Dafne Keen. I think why she was picked for the show His Dark Materials is because off her being in other show's and film's such as Logan which is a film and The Refugees which is a TV show. 2)  How does His Dark Materials meet the BBC's mission statement to 'inform, educate and entertain'? His Dark Materials meet the BBC's statement to inform, educate and entertain. The aspects of entertain is that there are hero's (Lyra) and villains (Mrs Coultard) in His Dark Materials that battle.
